Although the FLV format, which is found on YouTube and other Flash-based video sites, is probably the most common format that users will encounter, the extension can also handle MOV, AVI, WMV, and a few other file types. We downloaded several videos in different formats and didn't encounter problems with any of them. The extension then opens a new Web page that shows a progress bar depicting how much of the file has been downloaded.
